Drive 5:100
Indigenous Career Pathways Initiative

People First Comfort and Respect Improving Well-Being Detail-Oriented

From Entry-Level to earning 100k/year in 5 years

Drive Workforce Lodging prides itself on creating community for the workers staying with us, and we commit ourselves to the communities with work in and with. With the Indigenous communities we have the privilege to serve, we see an opportunity to share - share our experience, share our exposure, and share our networks. Through the DRIVE 5:100 initiative our aim is to welcome entry-level workers into our camp family, then share our networks and facilitate exploration of different trades and project-related careers available. Our goal is to mentor workers from ground zero to careers earning $100k/year within 5 years. This is how strong communities are built.

Indigenous Career Pathways Initiative

How it Works

Step 1: Start with DRIVE

Participants begin with on-site roles in Drive’s workforce lodging operations — culinary, housekeeping, maintenance, or administration.

These roles offer stable employment, skill-building, and exposure to industrial camp life.

Step 2: Get DRIVE Connected

Through Drive’s close relationships with contractors, project managers, and companies living at our camps, participants gain visibility to the broader range of jobs available in the field.

We facilitate introductions, job shadowing, and mentorship opportunities.

Step 3: Career Planning & Support

Participants receive guidance and career planning from Drive and our partners.

We help identify pathways toward trades, certifications, or professional roles that align with their interests and strengths.

Step 4: Training & Transition

With support from industry partners and community organizations, we help participants access training programs, apprenticeships, or direct job placements that move them toward skilled positions.

Step 5: Achieve $100k+

Within five years, we aim to see every participant reach a skilled role – like electrician, heavy equipment operator, safety officer, or project controller – earning $100,000+ annually, with the confidence and capability to grow further.

Why DRIVE?

We’re rooted in community, driven by people-first values, and known for our radical transparency.

Our camps offer more than a place to stay, they’re launchpads for careers. By working together with Indigenous communities and our industry partners, we can help unlock potential, open doors, and support long-term success for the next generation of Indigenous workers.

The future of workforce lodging includes Indigenous leadership – and we’re here to help build it.
